AqueousPro™ (7.9%) is a sanitiser product that customers can purchase directly through you, or through Pristine Water Systems.

This product removes biological and some chemical contaminants as well as odour and colour.

AqueousPro™ (7.9%) is used to purify roof harvested and other stored water required for drinking. It purifies water from microbial contamination of removing biological contaminants, many chemicals, odour and colour. Providing high quality drinking water free of harmful contaminants is particularly important for enabling the optimal health of children and the aged.

This product contains a unique chemical formulation that breaks down on contact with contaminants to form oxygen and water, and unlike chlorine, it does not react with organic materials to form toxic and potentially carcinogenic compounds.

AqueousPro™ (7.9%), when diluted in water, is not harmful and does not form toxic residue. The formulation in AqueousPro™ (7.9%) is approved for the treatment of drinking water in Australia, as is in many other countries.

AqueousPro™ (7.9%) may only require dosing at several month intervals, depending on the initial water quality and how frequent a supply tank is re-filled.

Water Testing: Testing your water to confirm the residual level of AqueousPro™ (7.9%) is very easy, using the supplied strips. This enables the quality of drinking water to be managed efficiently with safety, ease of application, flexibility of use and as a very cost effective and safe treatment process.

5.2.3 Customer Use

AqueousPro™ (7.9%) is sold to customers where there is a direct need to sanitise their water storage solutions. This includes:

Rainwater tanks
Caravans
RV’s
Boats

Rainwater is used for drinking and other water supply needs by millions of Australians, particularly in rural areas where it is has been, and by choice will remain the only water supply used for drinking and other purposes.

Rainwater intended for potable (drinking standard quality) and for other needs is typically collected from one or a number of roof catchments and stored in either one large or several storage tanks. But what is in the rain and on the roof can end up in the tank, so the environment in which the catchment lies directly influences the stored water quality.

Storage tanks can invariably collect minerals, chemicals, leaves, animal faeces and other biological contamination, all of which can compromise water quality and not meet drinking water standards for chemical or biological purity. It may then be unsuitable for infants, adults with an impaired immune function, or for persons unaccustomed to that (potentially low) quality of water

Where the purity of water is regarded as a priority for health, effective water treatment requires an integrated process to ensure the quality of rainwater is non-toxic and safe to drink. This may require purification prior to use, with AqueousPro™ (7.9%) the most simple, safe, non-toxic and cost-effective treatment amongst all technologies.

AqueousPro™ (7.9%) is used to purify water by destroying bacteria and viruses that are harmful to people and animals.
AqueousPro™ (7.9%) kills over 60 different germs, bacteria, viruses, amoeba, biofilms and other pathogens.
AqueousPro™ (7.9%) safely sanitises drinking water and in doing so breaks down into oxygen and water. Other alternative sanitisers can leave harmful chemical residues, while others can leave known carcinogens in water.

The residual concentration can be measured using a test strip, which is simply dipped in the water and the colour compared to a chart to determine the actual level. Test strips are available from PODAC > Products area, for ordering.
